Just snapped it in my backyard. I didn't recognize the call which is what led me to go take a look.

I'm looking at the bird book now and the Hepatic Tanager resembles it the most. Its the only one with a grey beak and grey on the sides. The other ones are too yellow. The only problem is that it lives in the southwest only but apparently one was seen in MTL two years ago?

It may be a young Baltimore Oriole. It's really hard to tell though. The beak is more like a Tanager, but the dark beak means a Hepatic Tanager which I think would be astronomically rare. Best bet is to stick with a first year Oriole. In one photo it seems like there is some orange.

The Oriole seems to fit the bill better than the Tanager, especially the streaking on the wings. The shape is more Tanager-like but I guess its just a fat bird.
