Spotless Starling (1) (Sturnus unicolor) User: Ivan M  (See all photos - 314) (Comments - 37)
Morocco In Morocco, Spotless (or Unicolored) Starlings replace the ubiquitous European Starlings. They look about the same but lack the white spots in every plumage. As the more common species, Spotless Starlings are also very good at imitating sounds, and the ones living close to the main roads may even reproduce the sounds of truck motors!

Canada (Québec) European Starling / Étourneau sansonnet ; Montreal, QC, (Galeries des Sources, D.D.O.) This Starling mom was very attentive to the young ones; we watched her continously bring worms to feed the chicks.
