United States (Washington) Quilomene Wildlife area near Yakima Washington. More properly known as the Sagebrush Sparrow now, since the Sage Sparrow as split into the Bell's Sparrow and the Sagebrush Sparrow. Thanks to Chris for spotting it.

Canada (British Columbia) Nighthawk Border crossing road near Osoyoos BC. I had hoped to see Lark Sparrows on this road but had no luck with them. I stopped for lunch off the road and noticed a bird that looked a bit like a flicker out my window. I got out to check and was rewarded with this lifer, a Sage Thrasher. This is near-desert habitat, so they are seen here
