I haven't seen one for a number of years so to get it in the province was even better. I was there at 6:00 a.m. and stayed for several hours so the light was very nice.

I would repeat this exercise in a heartbeat. The bird cooperated, the light was good and I had the egret pretty much to myself for a long time, until the picnickers arrived and set up on the bench in front of it. That's OK because I got lots of shots.
